Legal Projects
Vermont Legal Aid provides free civil legal services to Vermont residents. Our lawyers and paralegals:
- represent clients
- provide advice, information, forms and other helpful tools
- testify before the legislature or administrative committees and boards about how laws or rules impact Vermonters
- advocate for new protections or the enforcement of those that already exist, and
- work to correct systemic problems that adversely affect vulnerable Vermonters.
